Students Come First
At Roantree Maths, we cater for all levels and years as students prepare for their junior and leaving certificates. We provide individual or group grinds at competitive rates. By providing exam focused lessons with comprehensive notes and homework, our students will gain confidence and achieve better results.

Further to our weekly grinds facility, we provide camps over mid-term and easter to get students exam ready.
MEET OUR TEAM
JOAN ROANTREE
Founder
Joan holds a BSc. MSc in Mathematics. She brings experience from the Financial sector where she worked in the design and application of life assurance systems, going on to lecture maths/applied maths at 3rd Level.
CRAIG KENNEDY
Co-Founder
Craig graduated from Trinity College Dublin with first class honours in Mechanical Engineering. He now works as a data analyst in financial services, and has over 8 years of teaching experience.
SAOIRSE KENNEDY
Co-Founder
Saoirse is a final year medical student at UCD. She has 6 years experience teaching at Roantree Maths. She achieved 625 points in the Leaving Certificate. She has a passion for teaching and her classes are highly focused on how to approach the JC and LC examinations.
HANNAH

My name is Hannah and I am in my fifth year studying medicine at Trinity College Dublin. I was a student of Roantree Maths Grinds in sixth year and it improved my grades massively. I hope to share the skills and strategies that helped me achieve high grades in maths, and show students how to find enjoyment in studying the subject!

Peter graduated from Trinity College with a first class honours in Mathematics. More recently he completed his masters in data and computational science.

My name is Ella and I am a 5th year medical student in UCD. I sat my Leaving Cert in 2021, receiving a H1 in maths. I love teaching and believe with a bit of fun everyone can enjoy learning maths! Roantree Maths helped me become the best maths student I could be, and I hope I can help more students feel the same!

I’m Kayla and I am in fourth year of Medicine at UCD. I attended classes at Roantree Maths Grinds for 6 years before I started tutoring. I achieved 625 points in my Leaving Cert with a total of 8 H1s including in Maths and Applied Maths. I teach both Maths and HPAT here and love getting to know all my students!

I used to give grinds at home in Cavan, and have been with Roantree Maths Grinds for the last year. I always love getting to share my love of maths with new students!
